Cute...Except this is a Billion dollar industry. Gamer's money talk, and so should they. Ironically, why is Crave even creating an article about gaming, and disrespecting N4G users? They have the credit for this?
Microsoft recent announcement about Quantum Break being simultaneously released on the Xbox One and PC is not part of any console war. It's about identity. No one cares in this instance about the PS4 or the dominance of the PC versus the position of the Xbox One.
It's about why do I own this product or service? The purpose that it serves in my world and yours. How it occupy's our time and attention. At this point there needs to be differentiation in the unificatio...
I mentioned this several years ago when Capcom was releasing Resident Evil 5 and the issue of sensitivity with regards to diversity in context of reflection.
For us to have this conversation there must be a recognition that there is an issue with the portral of all people in gaming diversely. We need to start there.
What you are seeing is the "righting" of this horrible practice of not picking people based on talent or merit. People of minority repr...
I'm sorry you had that happen to you. Mines and many other people who had issues with the Xbox 360 RROD were treated with respect. It was a no brainier with the process. Microsoft in some cases had to vet people who were trying to scam them with RROD cases. I knew people who intentionally lied about having their consoles have the issue, and received a brand new Xbox 360.
That lead me to assume that there were other people who were also scamming.
Forza Horizon has become one of the best, and arguably the best racing franchise IMO. It's just outright great racing fun.
The fact that the Forza franchise as a whole has established itself in such a way is just fantastic. Nothing on any console touches both right now. The generation has some ways to go, so we will see what the competitors bring.
Since the launch of the Xbox One, there have just been a steady stream of great exclusive titles. You can start with Ryse, which may not have had the greatest gameplay, but Crytek set a benchmark for graphics that put any argument of the Xbox One's prowess to test.
Quantum Break is continuing a great tradition this generation for the Xbox One. Can't wait to play this game. It's a brand new title for a new generation, and worth the attention.
Microsoft had a bad announcement of the Xbox One in May. They reversed the controversial aspects in June. The release of the Xbox One launch was one of the best in gaming history.
Let it also be noted that Microsoft had a better E3 where Phil Spencer made sure to deliver the games. Which resulted in the Xbox One having a better launch game line-up than the PS4.
The mistakes people talk about are all before the console even hit the shelves. I'm not sure wh...
Remember Quantum Break was pushed back. This ad looks like it was a previous cut that had the game as part of the marketing push. Why throw a good thing away?
Also what's cool I think is that Microsoft is recognizing that the Xbox history of titles has had some stellar moments. It's the reason why backwards compatibility has been such a huge thing for them. It's great self promotion for both the brand, and gamers who play/will play on the Xbox One.
If you are referencing a movie which Indiana Jones is as an influence. Then it would stand to reason that it was first an influence for Tomb Raider. Since Uncharted came out decades before both Indiana Jones as a movie, and Tomb Raider as a game.
Uncharted absolutely copied Tomb Raider. You can't even argue that without sounding like a complete moron. Uncharted expanded the game play, and concept of Tomb Raider, but the sentiment and play mechanics are not that far off. The fact that you could draw or see any type of comparison speaks to how there is an influence. Uncharted is not a FPS, it is not an over head shooter, it is not a strategy title.

The biggest issue that people are not paying attention to is the fact that the PC is neutral.
I can own (which I do) a PC and Xbox One. I can own a PS 4 and a PC. One common denominator here is...PC.
This is about software exposure and not just the platform it is on. Microsoft isn't saying that they are releasing games on both platforms at the same time.
Even if they did the consoles have a different lane, and so do PC's. I believe ...
There's so much new going on with this title. I want to see how they capture the originals great gameplay with where they can go now. Not just because of the use of a dedicated game engine for cloud compute, but also how they bring better gameplay for an new generation to the forefront. With what GTA V and to a lesser extent Saint's Row series have done in expanding the open world of cops, and robbers gameplay. I'm really interested to see how they have grown the concept of Crackd...
